Project Solution
Celbi, S.A., part of the Altri group, produces BEKP cellulose fibers to replace synthetic fibers of fossil origin. EST, contracted by Metso Power Oy, carried out the electrical installation and instrumentation project for two boilers and an evaporation unit at Celbi.
One of the boilers is a Recovery Boiler, which recovers waste heat for conversion into useful energy, and the other is a Biomass Boiler, which generates heat by burning this renewable organic material, which in turn is transferred to the water to produce heat. The Evaporation Unit uses thermal energy to heat a given liquid solution, causing the solvent to evaporate and leaving only the most concentrated solution.
