Project Solution

AW – ENERGY OY is a pioneer in the green economy and a global leader in wave energy technology. Its aim is to convert the energy potential of waves into electrical energy through advanced technological processes.

In 2019, EST was challenged to participate in AW’s pilot project, which consisted of a submerged wave energy converter. With the aim of producing energy through the waves, an articulated panel was attached to the seabed in the nearby coastal area, where it generates electricity from the movement of the waves and is connected to the electricity grid on land.
