Andritz played an important role in the creation of the biomass cogeneration plant, a Fortum Värme initiative that represented a milestone in the emissions reduction strategy of Sweden’s capital, Stockholm.
Our company ensured the electrical installation and instrumentation of the biomass boiler. This project contributed to reducing CO2 emissions by 126,000 tons per year and 650,000 tons per year, including the impact of electricity production.
